Creditors meet over Zoe's Place future

CREDITORS will decide whether one of only three hospices for terminally ill children in Australia should be placed in liquidation.

Zoe's Place, Queensland's only children's hospice, was placed into administration last month not long after the Queensland Nursing Council (QNC) and Zoe's Place board launched an investigation into allegations of sub-standard patient care at the hospice.

SV Partners is heading the administration process, and is meeting with creditors at 10.30am (AEST) on Tuesday to discuss whether it should be placed in liquidation.

The hospice closed on Monday, shutting its doors to hundreds of families from across Queensland and northern NSW with terminally ill children or children who require 24-hour care.
